Then i made a directory IPSM/TEMP/ and put the midlets there. The JavaMAN lists the midlets but when i wana run any midlet always the same error : Error while openingen the target file or ... and so on Any clues what i made wrong or have i just taken false midlets??
Guest hecatae Posted February 19, 2005 Report Posted February 19, 2005 .jar midlets? generic ones from midlet.org or specific phone type?

Guest Kloster Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 yep it is the mitac mio app  ! Sorry don't wanna break the law :( !
Guest kimveasna Posted March 25, 2005 Report Posted March 25, 2005 If it can help. I installed mitac JVM on my MPX220, and there is something wrong when opening files -unable to open the file in /IPMS/temp, or when lauching from jar/jad file, same problem ... Anyway I manage to launch a simple app with JAD and JAR files: - modify the jad files to point to another location for jar: MIDlet-Jar-URL: file:/xxxx.jar - then move or copy your jar file to the root folder of your phone / Within file explorer launch your app by clicking on your JAD file, this will launch the midp machine (if your file association is correct, and it should be if you successfully installed MIDPNG from mitac) and propose you to install the new midlet. Hope this help
