2 bits of help please!

Hi Guys

I should know the answers, but i have searched and cannot find the answers

1) that annoying doink sound when you use text messaging when inserting contact, how do you remove it?

2) the sensor on the c500, the one which is supposed to light up the keypad when its dark, how does it work, have tried everything, but it just doesnt work, any clues? or is my phone faulty?

I know these have been posted in past, but i just cant find them!!!

You can get rid of the doink sound by setting System Sounds to Off in Profiles.

Alternatively there is MooSkiDoo's ReplaceSound app, here :
