Guest alanrenouf Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 I changed my GPRS package with orange the other day and was sent a sim update text message. After this I don’t think my GPRS settings are working as they were before. If I go to my Orange world setting and click manage existing connections I get the following: Auto Pick Orange Wap +44793100500 Orange GPRS Wap Orange GPRS Internet When I try and connect to the Internet it says “The answering modem has disconnected.” Are my settings correct? Please can somebody check there’s for me. Also, what’s the difference between GPRS Wap and GPRS Internet ? All help would be gratefully received as Orange have not rang me back despite telling me they would do twice.
Guest alanrenouf Posted February 22, 2005 Report Posted February 22, 2005 Still need the settings, please does anybody have the Orange GPRS Settings.
Guest Ian Posted February 22, 2005 Report Posted February 22, 2005 (edited) I've got the same options as in the 1st post, and Orange GRPS Internet is the selected one. Settings for this are: Name: Orange GPRS Internet Modem: Cellular Line (GPRS) Access Point: orangeinternet Username/password/domain: all blank In GPRS settings, I've got PAP authentication, class 10.
