Guest spvdk Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 I have had my SPV C500 for a few months now, but still I haven't found an app that will let me export/send the complete contacts list. All I can do is to beam one contact at a time, which can really be a pain in the... neck! Before the C500 I had the Sony Ericsson P900, where exporting was a breeze. Just click to send the complete 'folder' and all contacts was saved in one single .vcf file. Anyone seen something like that for the MS smartphones?

Guest gunnbot Posted February 24, 2005 Report Posted February 24, 2005 http://www.jeyo.com/ Jeyo Mobile Companion will, amongst other things, let you export your contacts to either a text file or a proprietary .spd file, which can be imported back. It isn't free though. There is a 1 month trial if you just want to do a one off backup to a text file. Or there is Outlook. I just had a play with it actually (Outlook 2003) and if you select all of your contacts you can go to File -> Import and Export... you can export them to a file like CSV, Access or Excel.
Guest Sage Posted February 24, 2005 Report Posted February 24, 2005 mobile companion will only grab name and number not email addresses etc.. outlook is still the only way.
Guest spvdk Posted February 25, 2005 Report Posted February 25, 2005 Thanks for the suggestions. But what I am looking for is a simple, on-the-go solution, that doesn't require access to a PC with Outlook and ActiveSync...
