Hard Reset Problem

Hi all,

My problem is when I try to do a Hard Reset - instead of getting " Erase IPSM " next to No. 8 - I get " RUU RECOV ". When I select it, turns off inself and the hard reset is not done. I tried also a software update, with SD Card, without. No luck :cry: :x

Can anyone help me??

Selecting the RUU RECOV should not turn the phone off.

Once selected are you leaving for a few minutes to do the hard reset process.

when I select RUU RECOV, it turn off automatically. The hard reset screen looks differently then the usual screen (see attachment).

I tried something yesterday and now I have more problems :?:

When I select ruu recover, turns off automatically and starts up my phone, ask me the pin-code, and after tells me " Invalid or missing SIM card" (the sim card is my orang sim card. I have two orange numbers, but it makes no different) and after when I push the "done" button, he tells me "Simlock" and "Network is locked, Please input unlock code". I don't know what's happen with my phone.

I hope anyone can help me or my phone goes swimming into the zurich lake :lol:

On the E200 that is the hard reset option as there is no IPSM on this

phone as it is now called storage.

Check the SIM is placed correctly in the phone and check the contacts are clean.

One question is why did you want to do a hard reset? did you have any other problems?
