Guest corruption x Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 Hi. I'm using the audiovox SMT5600 on Smartphone 2003 Second Edition. I'm able to successfully ActiveSync via bluetooth to my PC, but I can't figure out how to send files individualy to say, a friend's phone, via bluetooth. I'm stuck with using the infrared for that. In file manager, when I go to > Send File, only infrared is an option. Am I missing something? Was it left out of the operating system? Is there a third party software to do it? Thanks.
Guest Kaka Posted February 24, 2005 Report Posted February 24, 2005 Yes to do this via BT i use Smart Explorer listed on this Link
Guest xenophobe Posted February 24, 2005 Report Posted February 24, 2005 With the provided File Manager: Highlight the file you want to send, hit the MENU softkey, then select 5 Send> 2 BEAM> and select the source... it will list IR to align, and will show bluetooth connections to choose from. Use Smart Explorer... it's easier, faster, and a much better application.
Guest danielf Posted February 27, 2005 Report Posted February 27, 2005 I have tried to send files via Bluetooth from my Mpx220 to my Pocketpc using Resco explorer but I didn't succeed. Daniel
Guest fraktal Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 I have a C500 (also Smartphone 2003 Second Edition I believe) and I find sending files via bluetooth to be patchy at best, even with Smart Explorer. on the occasions when you can see a device, sometimes it will reject after the correct passkeys have been submitted. Anyone else find this?
