Tom Tom gives Error when I run it

I installed Tom Tom on my SPV 500 and when I try to run it, it responds with "Error!" and "Failed to run program". I'm using a mini SD card (256MB) and I've installed the Tom Tom on the root of the card.

Could anyone please give me some advise? I'm new to all this so please bear with me. :cry:

You have to copy all the files from the MMC directly to the miniSD as you find them otherwise it will not work correctly.

You also need the Traffic plug-in available from www.tomtom.com. (You do not need to subscribe to Traffic).

Can you please help??

I have copied the card from the Original to my 256 mini SD

I can get TOMTOM to work but only by selecting it through the file manager!!

i have no icon i n the menu system to access it????

Then there is nothing wrong with TomTom, its just your link on the menu that's not working.

Edit the shortcut file, it should say

35#"\Storage Card\TomTom\TomTom Mobile.exe"

EDIT: reread your post and see that you do not have a menu option. Create a file called TomTom.lnk place that into \Storage\windows\Start Menu and you should have a new menu option

If you copy everything from the MMC to a miniSD you do not need to create a shortcut as it will be created automatically.
