Guest satshergill Posted February 22, 2005 Report Posted February 22, 2005 I have installed tomtom mobile with Benelux map i.e Benelux Navigator map folder under the storage card root directory I have the map for Great Briatin Navigator map and have deleted the Benelux maps. The applications keeps coming up with No maps found Any way of switching maps??
Guest chucky.egg Posted February 22, 2005 Report Posted February 22, 2005 In Storage Card - System - Apps - TTMOBILE there is a file called CurrentMap.dat, which contains the path to the map. You could try changing that (if you copy the file to your PC and edit it with Notepad or similar) Don't know if it will have any effect, but it's the only place that I know of that stores a map location
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted February 22, 2005 Report Posted February 22, 2005 If you only want to use the maps from the UK why not remove all the folders etc from the original install and then replace them with those from the MMC card that came with the UK version.
Guest satshergill Posted February 23, 2005 Report Posted February 23, 2005 I should have said I have the maps from great britain from TT Navigator and would like these to work for TT mobile
Guest chucky.egg Posted February 23, 2005 Report Posted February 23, 2005 Ahh, there is a thread around somewhere about using maps from Navigator, but AFAIK they never got it working
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted February 23, 2005 Report Posted February 23, 2005 Yep as far as I am aware Navigator maps are not compatable with Mobile.
Guest Genieuk Posted February 24, 2005 Report Posted February 24, 2005 TT Navigator 3 maps ARE compatible with TT Mobile. I bought the Navigator maps for Europe and as long as you register your app and maps with TomTom they give you a code to unlock those maps. These can then be used with TT Mobile.
