My company will be upgrading to exchange 2003 within the next couple months, so I would like to get this documented now.
Guest GrayLensman Posted March 12, 2005 Report Posted March 12, 2005 I am very curious about this as well. My company will be upgrading to exchange 2003 within the next couple months, so I would like to get this documented now. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't know anything about the server side of the equation except that at my company, we point the phone at the same URL as our OWA interface. After that, it's all done with ActiveSync. Tell it what you want to sync from the server (Cal, Cont, Inbox, Tasks). You have to provide your logon credentials including username, password and domain. Password change will cause server sync to break until you connect to ActiveSync again. I usually just enter the new password into the phone. But since the password is stored on your phone, you have an extra issue if you lose it or it is stolen so keep that in mind. Sorry I can't give you more specifics on the server side. I would bet there are white papers on the Microsoft site however. Once you get it going, it's great. Don't know how I lived without it. Good luck.
