Trendmirco Antivirus Updates Problem

For most non Cingular and no GPRS MPx220 users:

Trendmirco antivirus program for ppc and sp are on free trial. Since I do not have GPRS, I used USB and ActiveSync to connect Internet and update the virus definition. In order to successfully update the virus def. I had to remove the Cingular default proxy setting "PDA Connect". Since the antivirus software is not as smart as IE and MSN, it cannot auto detect proxy connection. Actually email client had the same problem too, you should be able to connect to your Gmail SSL pop and smtp after you remove that damn Cingular proxy connection.

btw, that damn antivirus program from trendmicro is a superb!
