Guest FrankyG Posted February 23, 2005 Report Posted February 23, 2005 I'm thinking of biting the bullet and going for the JAM on T-mobile...even although I've got a great contract and C500 on Orange :?: So, I get one of the special offers, get a free JAM and then..can I reduce my tariff down to the very lowest possible and just pay the bare minumum for the remainder of the contract? I know with Orange you can get a tariff of £10/month, does anyone know what the lowest possible tariff is with T-mobile (could be a data only tariff) and whats the minimum period before I could switch to it? Cheers... (c500 and MPx200 AND original SPV going up for sale!)
Guest adey_london Posted February 23, 2005 Report Posted February 23, 2005 I just took out a deal with Ukphoneshop.com - I don't think you can change tariffs (downwards anyway) in the first 12 months... I took the £23 a month tariff, half price for 3 months, and MDA for free....
Guest GothTeddy Posted February 23, 2005 Report Posted February 23, 2005 from what i remember, it's the first 6 months... could be 9 :( *walks away and waits for someone to post something helpful*
Guest martinwcooper Posted February 23, 2005 Report Posted February 23, 2005 I thought it was 11 months with T-mobile. But I don't have any evidence to hand so am not 100% certain.
Guest The Lostprophet Posted February 23, 2005 Report Posted February 23, 2005 defently cant change for the first 11months on t-mobile
Guest FragMeister Posted March 2, 2005 Report Posted March 2, 2005 (edited) Read the "small print" T&C's on ukphoneshop. Its a bit scary that were you to change tariff to a lower priced one, they reserve the right to charge your credit card the FULL "sim-free" cost of the handset! Scary! Guest Perfectionist Posted March 4, 2005 Report Posted March 4, 2005 If you order from the T-mobile.co.uk website you can get their normal tariffs a couple of quid cheaper a month.... I went for the Everyone Off Peak 200 tariff on an 18 month contract = only £13 a month..... Sweet :D However the best tariff I have seen is on O2 called the Leisure Time Plus.... £20 a month gets you 1000 minutes off peak + 25 minutes peak + 100 Texts + 100kb Data..... unfortunately T-mobile don't price match ;)
