Guest hunmin Posted February 23, 2005 Report Posted February 23, 2005 The Jave Powered by Sun Microsystem on MPx220 is actually a pretty good program for Java games and apps. I was searching on how to install some java games I found on a forum, and try to install it on MPx220. The only detail guide on starting the Java loader was written for V600. I followed and hoping it would work on MPx220, but apparently it did not work. I used another Java emulator from another forum which came with an applet that can install *.jar files directly, although you will have to use a different Java emulator. The game did load but it didn't have sound, and the bottom screen is block by the start menu and contact menu located at the bottom of the screen. Normally Java games are downloaded and install over the Internet. When you aren't installing over the Internet, the Java loader will not load, and it will not install the game. The *.jad is a text file which contain information the location to download the file, and it can be edited and point to your local harddisk if you download a Java game from some site for free (*.jar). The only problem is I cannot get the MPx220 Java program to load up, so it will install the game, and I have spend the entire night trying to figure out. I am a newbie in installing Java games, can someone using MPx220 help out! Thank You!
