Guest speedme Posted February 23, 2005 Report Posted February 23, 2005 Hey guys (and girls, if there are any). Since a few days I've also stepped in the wonderfull world of the Orange SPV-C500 smartphone and I'm really enjoying it. Now I only have one question : Do do I activate the flightmode option ? I really can't find it anywhere (and I've used the search).
Guest Disco Stu Posted February 23, 2005 Report Posted February 23, 2005 Tap the power button to bring up the Quick List, which includes Flight Mode. Although not representive of society at large, MoDaCo does have a good proportion of female members. So no sexist jokes

Guest BanziBarn Posted April 5, 2005 Report Posted April 5, 2005 Yes, it will. And what a ride!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Has anyone actually been allowed to use their phone on the plane?
Guest waroffice Posted April 5, 2005 Report Posted April 5, 2005 good point cos no one will believe you that your phone can turn off its radio/BT functions.....just a thought
Guest dj_sea Posted April 5, 2005 Report Posted April 5, 2005 i know, they tell you to turn off your phone even though its radio/BT funtions are off. witch sucks cos The Matrix reloaded movie on my phone is way better than the in flight one. :D

I think some airlines are starting to allow it though.

They are usually not that clever :D
Guest argh Posted April 5, 2005 Report Posted April 5, 2005 I didn't have any problems flying to the States with United. The steward did ask me if it was in flightmode, but that's all.
Guest dj_sea Posted April 6, 2005 Report Posted April 6, 2005 well next time im on a plane and someone tells me to turn off my phone i will just show them the phone is in flightmode and if they still doesent belive me i will give her the manual to read. that will keep them busy at least untill the movie on my phone has finished. :D
