The first Smartphone to feature a QVGA resolution, the C550 features: 1.3 Megapixel Camera GPRS Class 10 240x320 65k TFT colour screen 64mb Internal memory and Mini SD external memory USB, IrDA and Bluetooth Video MMS Java 2.0Our sources indicate that the following features are unconfirmed, but rumoured: Integrated SZGA and Flash 262K not 64K Display May have 3G technology too but no internal camera The dimensions are 90x47x25mm, weighing 110g So... it looks a bit ugly right? :D We can also exclusively reveal that the handset is due to hit the shops in May! :lol: P

And Drblow: should be Smartphone as the increased screen resolution was announced for the Smartphone platform by Microsoft months ago, just no one's released one on the market yet. Oh, and I'd be amazed if this DIDN'T have Windows Media Player 10. The reason Orange haven't made it available for C500 is probably to ensure when they do release a Smartphone with WMP10 that it's all the more attractive to new customers and upgrades alike! Is that 90mm tall (top of screen to bottom of keypad), 47mm wide across the screen, and 25mm deep (front to back)? That seems kinda "podgy" and "stumpy", and it's no wider than the C500

Guest schmeegle Posted February 24, 2005 Report Posted February 24, 2005 I quite like it, glad to see the rubbish joystick gone. And the media buttons look sweet. Hot swapable min-sd would be nice, full size SD would be better, bit more cost effective. Mind you by the time it comes out who knows.
