Hey all,

I've had this problem before. I had the Logitech Mobile Freedom headset connected to my SPV C500.

Sometimes, when a call comes in, the speaker would just go absolutely berserk, playing noise. As if the speaker got turned up way above max volume.

I then didn't use a headset for a while, as I was very dissatisfied with the LMF. Never had the problem.

Now, I bought the Jabra BT800. And it's doing it again ! Sometimes, the speaker goes absolutely bonkers.

It seems, if you have BT headsets connected to your SPV C500, you sometimes get this. And it's sooo annoying, as the speaker REALLY makes a lot of noise, and sounds like it's broken or something.

Anyone else had this problem ?

No. I have been using the BT250 for about 6 weeks with no problems.

There's the odd quirk with how things work but sound is fine, voice dialling works well, I just wish I could get it to use the headset mode and so auto answer but scratching my ear when a call comes in is no big deal.

I have had something similar to this as well. Every now and then when I have turned my bluetooth headset off, the first call to come through causes the loudspeaker to blast white noise for a couple of seconds. It also sometimes does this the first time I press the green call button after turning the headset off.

 Its usually after I come back into the office and gets me very disapproving looks

I remember reading part of a huge post about this here on modaco. I don't think anybody has a solution for it but if I am not wrong people had pretty much narrowed the problem down.

I use Jabra 250 and the Logitech and had this problem with both....

Search for " static " you should find the post.
