Hi there

I wonder if somebody can help with this...

I am trying to edit OrangeHomescreen.home.xml on my C500 (just to change the date format initially!)

I have app unlocked the device and copied OrangeHomescreen.home.xml from the \Windows directory to my desktop. I have made the required amends (just changed date format to ddd dd MMM yyyy) and saved this file after changing it from read only.

Copied it back to the C500 (tried both the \Windows directory and also \Application Data\Home as I also saw suggested) but there is no change on the home screen - even after powering down and back up again...

Am I missing a trick?

That's the thing. Been there, done that. Saved the XML file back to the phone but it doesn't update my home screen.

Do I have to do something after I copy the file to refresh the home screen?

You need to change your homescreen to something else & then back to what you are working on. Just to refresh the homescreen. :lol:
