Guest Alex_le_brit Posted February 25, 2005 Report Posted February 25, 2005 If THIS Had the connector like an SPV/E100 on the bottom and not the serial connector, do you think it would work as a plug in bluetooth module to allow Activesynching, and passthru internet connections, although obviously not headphones or bluejacking. As you can see: The (F2M01) Serial Port Plug integrates a Bluetooth module in very dense packing. A class 1 Bluetooth solution is used offering a nominal range of approximately 100m. No external drivers are needed to use the plug. A user-friendly Windows application is included that can be used to configure the plug to suit your requirements. So it's not reliant on anything on the phone at all.

Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted February 27, 2005 Report Posted February 27, 2005 You'd need to phone to act as host master, which it doesn't. Both devices would be waiting for the other to do something!

I think it takes the serial signal and converts it all by itself. I've mailed them but as it's a Sunday we'll have to wait.
