Guest removed-2 Posted February 25, 2005 Report Posted February 25, 2005 (edited) Hi, I have a couple of questions that I am hoping someone can answer to do with my installation of mapopolis & UK maps on my C500:- 1. Within a few minutes of starting up the application the phone goes back to the home screen and the keys lock as I have set this to under normal operation. Is there any way of configuring this under mapopolis to stop this happening?? I also have Tom Tom mobile and this prevents the phone from locking the keypad and going back to the home screen for the time that it is running.... 2. I have set the options to Auto Start GPS and have set this to look for my GPS on COM7 rather than AutoDetect as it never seems to get past COM0? The problem I am having is even when I set this to COM7 the setting seems to get lost and revert back to Auto Detect. Also the auto start doesn't seem to work? I hope you have some feedback for me as this is proving very frustrating. Thanks Mark Edited February 25, 2005 by removed-2
Guest Dr_StrangeTrick Posted February 25, 2005 Report Posted February 25, 2005 Hi Mdavenport I cant suggest anything about the auto keylock, I dont use that on my phone. The auto-start has been a problem in the early beta's but if you download the latest from here then the auto-start works as well as quite a few other improvements.

I guess I could take the auto lock feature off but I got quite used to it... Thanks Mark
Guest travisb Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 (edited) For Problem 1. Go to Settings > Home Screen. Check that the Time out setting is Never. That should sort it Edited February 28, 2005 by travisb
