I think i need a reg editer

please bear with me....

when i install a program where is it stored (if i send it to phone and not card).

also if i start to install a program from a '.cab' and don't actaully install, i.e. cancel installation halfway through, the '.cab' disappears.

i dont think its deleted but its not viewable.

basically a lot of my phone memory has been juiced up by not that many programs, i have no mp3s on the phone memory - and phone memory is at 40% free.

any suggestions?

Cab files will self delete on install unless you make them read only.

40% memory is not bad depending on how you are reading the memory.

Try rebooting the phone as that can help but also try checking your memory with Task Manager from www.binarys.com

so what do i need/ what do i do to find out what is installed where.

i.e. i'm soon to be upgrading my mem card. where on the card are my programs or should i just copy whole "/storage card" folder accross to the new card?

To use a new memory card just copy the entire image from your old card to the new one and you will be fine :lol:
