Few things I have noticed about the JAM

1. Virtual pool and monopoly are so addictive :lol:

2. You can no longer assign tones to individual contacts - You need to use the photo contacts - but if this is not running then the tone doesn't work :D

3. Whilst using vBar you cannot close the phone - You can only hide it in the backgroup - without vBAr you can successfully close it

4. Call Quality isn't the best

5. Trying to dial into my compant RAS server it keeps saying that there is no modem to answer (When there definately is)

Anyone else notice these little things - It hasn't persuaded me to throw it away yet :(

I noticed the problem with the Phone not closing today too. I just loaded vBar back up, and when you click close it does something weird (goes into the speeddial for a fraction of a second then back to the phone) but doesnt close. Doesn't bother me though. I just let it sit in the background.

I have noticed that the speakerphone is WAY to quiet. Mic pickup sucks and the volume of the sound output is hardly higher than through the standard ear speaker.

I agree about Monopoly too!

Anyone else know an alternative to Photo contacts - Really want to assign different tones to different people (Or groups)

Basically when I am on call I always use a seperate tone for people from work

You can assign different ringtones using Photo Contacts. Select the person you want, and then click Edit, assign ringtone. I have this with a few contacts and it works fine.

That's what I had done but this only works when the photo contact application is running in the backgroud.

Unless it's because the .wav file s stored on the storage card?

Found the problem!

When I use vBAR my photo contacts doesn't work i.e. cannot assign different tones bt when you remove vBAR and set-up photo contact it works - but phot cantacts doesnt appear in the running apps (WEven thought it is running) looks like vBAR was doing too good of a job of closing down all running apps - Decided to stop using vBAR for a while to see if the phone handles a bit better
