Automatic Pickup on the MDA Compact

hi guys,

i'm having real trouble getting the automatic pickup to work on the JAM.

I've selected it to answer after two rings in the phone options, paired my bluetooth headset (tried an HBH200 and a Jabra BT250) but despite the option being ticked for it to answer automatically the phone just happily rings away until it goes to voicemail.

and its not me being lazy, as i spend a lot of time on my bike i usually have the phone in the pocket and a handsfree unit under the helmet, worked fine with both headsets with my old P900 but the Jam is being very unco-operative.

has anyone had similar problems or know what i'm doing wrong? any help would be much appreciated!

ok guys,

i've been hunting around for a solution to this over the internet, and found something on xda-developers.com for those who might be interested.

apparently the automatic pickup option on the jam is designed only for the included wired headset included in the box and not for the speakerphone or bluetooth headsets.

so at least i've got an option when i'm on the bike, but it seems like a major oversight, hopefully it will be upgraded by a rom update in the future
