Creating Homescreens for the C500 ?

:?: What's the easiest way to make a homescreen for the SPV C500?

There are lots out there but I want to make myself a nice 'all I need to know' simple homescreen. :(

1. What software do I need?

2. Is there a WYSIWYG version out there?

3. Do I need to install that annoying .NET crap?

4. Where do upload to when I'm done so everyone can take the piss? :lol:

Try using the forum search facility, to avoid asking embarrassing questions that have been answered a thousand times before.

Zampone, try Ruttensoft Homescreen Designer and yes it needs that .NET crap :lol:

and btw drblow, I did use the forum search facility, I obviously did a crappy job of it. :oops:

I knew the question must have been asked before. :roll:

I was just expecting someone to forward me to another post or thread etc.

I know it was a bit harsh - and I apologise if it came across as too aggressive - I was a bit grumpy! :oops:

But that said, it is frustrating that so many questions get asked repeatedly throughout the forum, and the old 'how do I make homescreens' question has been rolled out just too many times. I just did a search myself. I typed in 'design homescreens' and just did a basic search, and got 8 pages! Within the first 10 listed was this http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=...ign+homescreens which contains pretty much all the info asked for!

But please don't let my grumpy attitude in any way prevent further sensible questions in the future! :lol:

:?: Out of curiousity if you found '8 pages' why do you refer to the 'first 10' ?

I just meant in the first 10 posts, as opposed to pages.

Don't worry about it, but it's good to get to grips with the way the search works. Not only will it save any hassle, but you will find results/answers faster, without having to wait for a reply.
