Guest Chimpanzee Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 I'm sorry to keep going on about this but it's really bugging me. If you own an Orange SPV M2000 please answer this question. It seems some people can send files via BlueTooth no problem and others just can't. I want to find out how many people are in my position of not being able to send much via BT. I'm talking about the Beam facility in File Explorer (thats the one pre-installed on the phone, not Resco or Smart Explorer). Apparently what's meant to happen is you select 'Beam' and if it can't find anything on IR it goes to BT. Mine doesn't... and yes i do have bluetooth turned on.
Guest Pondrew Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 (edited) M2000 users only yeah? Edited February 28, 2005 by Pondrew
Guest theanarch1st Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 your question is too vague, as i said in your other thread it depends on the transfer method obex works everytime as long as both fones or devices support it, if not no can only send contacts and appointments with some occasional luck after 10mins of searching a file can be sent
Guest Chimpanzee Posted March 1, 2005 Report Posted March 1, 2005 M2000 users only yeah? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was given the impression that it was Orange that has done something to their version of the device that stops BT from being used. that's the only reason i specified the M2000. Are you having the same problem with your XDA?

Guest Pondrew Posted March 1, 2005 Report Posted March 1, 2005 (edited) I've got the T-Mobile MDA III. No problems sending or receiving (sorry). Hence I haven't voted. Edited March 1, 2005 by Pondrew
