right my motorola mpx 200 frooze so i thought it would be clever to switch it off well i switched it back on and ... RINGER OFF no home screen layouts can be found.install valid home screnn layout and then select it using the home screen item in settings well i have gone into it and cganged bits and bobs and nothing is helping ..

What has happened is your phone has suffered from a partial reset. This happens when the phones power has been interrupted while writing to the registry.

The only real fix to get the phone running as it should is to do a hard reset or as it's known on the MPX200 a Master Reset.

To do this power off the phone then press and hold the blue action button and power on the phone. Then when asked select YES to master reset your phone.

This will wipe the phone and reset it back to it's factory default so you will have to resync your contacts etc and reinstall your applications and games.

As for reinstalling just install the apps etc the same way you did the first time you installed them.

ok i had better contact the previous owner cos i dont have it
