TomTom Mobile, SPV C500 & Wonder-X GPS-BT77 GPS

I have TomTom Mobile with the latest Traffic patch installed on my SPV C500, with a Wonder-X GPS-BT77 GPS (using the NEMERIX GPS Module) which I also use successfully with my XDA2 & TomTom Navigator 3. However, I have tried every which way (but not neccessarily loosely!) to get my SPV C500 to work with this GPS unit, but to no avail. I've tried all the previous recommended solutions that I can find, including: renaming the GPS to TomTom Wireless GPS, deleting it completely and allowing TomTom to find it, pairing them, unpairing them and just about every combination I can think of..... nothing! TTM sits there saying the signal was lost indefinitely with the BT light winking at me mockingly!! Any help that might tame this beast would be received with my eternal gratitude, and a BIG THANKS TOO!!!

Have a read of the TomTom review in this section there is a guide for setting up the GPS unit on the C500.

You will need to install the traffic update which is also linked to in the first post in the review thread.

I have just bought a Bluetooth GPS BT77 Receiver to run on my SPV E200, running TomTom Mobile.

I have managed to bond the BT77 to my e200 and setup the outport to 7, though when run TOMTOM Mobile, go to change my location/gps position, i get the message "No Valid GPS Signal"

Any help would be great appreciated......cheers

Hello !

I've a Qtek 8080 with TTM and a BT GPS Wonde-x module . Sometimes the BT of the Qtek stops (especially when calculate long travels ) and I've to re-start the BT function . Any suggestions to avoid this problem ? When I travel with "not so far" destinations (i.e. max 150Km) and I follow the instructions of the TTM, no problems. When i try to force alternative destinations (turn to right instead of the left....etc) sometimes the system stop the Qtek BT.

Help me please !!!!!

Thanks

Marco
