How to use the Softkey to play Java Games ?

I found some java games need use the right and left softkey to do the selection. However. there's no reponse when I press my 8390 softkey in the games. Anyone can tell me how to do it ?

a buddy of mine has one of these, but never mentioned any of the java games. i can ask him and try to get back to you tho. hopefully he'll be able to shed some light on this.
