Yes I know there is a search facility but no, I can't find anything!

Just started playing with the Homescreen designer, have done my first screen but wanted to add some extra plugins (The smartmonitor ones) - I have written the code in the homescreen.xml file on my PC, how do I import these settings into an already created homescreen.hsd or hme file?

I don't think that there's a way to package it into an already existing file. If you put the XML file directly onto the phone (Storage/Application Data/Home) then assuming that all the necessary image files etc. are already on there, it should work OK. (Make sure you change the title of the homescreen though, otherwise you won't be able to distinguish the existing one from the one with the Smartmonitor plugin.)

You can also tell Homescreen Designer to generate an xml file and not generate a .hme file. That way you can just edit the xml that HD creates.

or if you have already installed the HME file onto your phone, go into the Home folder and copy the XML file back onto your PC and you can then edit it.

All done, just wish I could import my current XML settings to the homescreen designer!
