Or you could try www.onestopphoneshop.co.uk

9 months line rental free and double minutes for the first 6 months, Free phone - then £25/month for remaining months.

Can't understand why anyone would buy PAYG, when you can get the phone free, plus basically all your calls free (for a medium user) then just pay for your texts.

Whereas PAYG would be £175 for the phone, then you have to pay for all your calls and all your texts. - Seems bonkers to me! Even if you don't use the free minutes it's still cheaper to buy the contract one. It would even be cheaper to buy the contract, chuck the simcard in the bin and put a PAYG card in the phone (cheaper than normal PAYG that is - Contract is still cheaper)!!

i strongly agree with that celica, it's the cheapest and most practical that you can get .

except for one, can you post the exact site of the site that says 9 months free rental.

thanks.

www.mobilesuk.net

Last time I looked you could get 100 x-network mins and 100 texts for £11.50 a month (this is with the phone being free) and I can tell you from experience that their customer service is second to none

i pay £7 line rental a month for 6mnth with 400xnet any time mins. after 6mnth then can pay £30 for same deal or £15 for about 40ish minutes free.

worked out (line rental for a year) at £2 more than the PAYG price.

keeping in mind i was gonna get the PAYG for £140.

was a real eye opener.

people on PAYG - wanting a new phone should seriously look at these contracts.

only thing is i've heard things about companies offering these deals with refund cheques and not playing up????

lets hope my lot pay up!

yes looks like they've changed the offer at onestopphoneshop

I got mine mid Feb so it looks like I was just in time! Thought the offer was too good to make them money!

The biggest problem I have found with it is they sign you up for tons of services that you don't want - you then have to cancel them or end up paying for them.

I have to write two letters to cancel:

telephone support - £5.99

insurance - £5.99

I then have to cancel all the free trials with Orange that they have signed me up for :D

They don't mind you canceling, but they make more money if you forget!

I have heard of problems with rebates but every other time I've had to claim a rebate I've had no problem. Got my A1000 from onestop so I hope they pay up when it comes time.

The reasons people buy PAYG are usually:

a) too young to get a contract / bad credit history.

:D not in the UK
