But they did not announced when is it going to be released.

but good choice for a Phone, same with imate jam but bigger rom.

You're thinking of the M2500 (HTC Alpine).

The Orange version of the HTC Magician, the M500, is the same spec as all the others and doesn't have a 512mhz processor. Isn't it?

Orange are launching their own version of the Jam just as they released an HTC Himalya (XDA2) and an HTC Blue Angel (XDA2s) but in all these cases the hardware remains the same.

Yeah. Saw the expansys today too when on their site, but it is an upgraded unit that they have PocketPCtechs do. It is not a new version of the Magician, just an upgraded one. It probably lacks the 1yr warranty from imate as well. The pocketpctechs upgrade takes the unit apart and replaces the original RAM, voiding the warranty.
