Guest markdotpeters5 Posted March 1, 2005 Report Posted March 1, 2005 Anyone see this: http://www.juize.co.uk/ reckon it's a load of old cobblers?
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted March 1, 2005 Report Posted March 1, 2005 "You can send txts quicker and more cheaply using the GPRS service already on your phone" Hmmm P
Guest Matt Kirby Posted March 2, 2005 Report Posted March 2, 2005 Just had a quick look, and I've noticed that they've got a hidden "HTTP referer" field on thier form, so they know where you're coming from! Not that I'm saying that's dodgy, just interesting- it means that they'll probably be having a look at this thread at some point, so I wouldn't be surprised if after someone signs up from here they pop along to read our comments.
Guest lighthouse82 Posted March 2, 2005 Report Posted March 2, 2005 by the look of it, you can only send these texts to others who have signed up for it. not great.
Guest carmel Posted March 3, 2005 Report Posted March 3, 2005 ' date='Mar 1 2005, 21:17'] "You can send txts quicker and more cheaply using the GPRS service already on your phone" can you explain in detail how to do this and how much it would cost to a complete newbie. i have a c500 on contract with orange but no orange world access included in tariff. Thanks in advance
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted March 3, 2005 Report Posted March 3, 2005 Unless you have "pay as you use" GPRS specifically added to your account you're charged £10 a meg. If not then its £3/mb for the first 3meg, £2/mb for the next 12 and a pound a meg thereafter (http://tinyurl.com/4cfg4). To send one text say for the sake of arguement is 0.5k (the actual message plus overheads for the service), so thats about 0.02 pence per message, 6000 per £1 of GPRS (for the first three meg). Personally i had the orange world 4, 4mb for £4 which did me fine. Now i have the 3 months 1000mb bundle as i upgraded to a 3G phone. Sod that, just swap it between my m2000 and c500 and burn that data! :D
Guest tony_man Posted July 4, 2005 Report Posted July 4, 2005 Sorry if this is too late. but is does say Step 3: Download juize onto your mobile and your friends´ mobile and start sending texts! so you can only text other users!! sneaky!
