Problems

OK, I have a c500 which I do love, but I am starting to get a bit annoyed with it.

1) It runs slow, I've tried closing programs in task manager but it still runs slow. Well not slow, just not as fast as it should.

2) I still haven't got my o2 mms/wap/gprs settings working. I've tried loads of different settings on loads of different threads. I need basically a cab file that has the o2 300 free texts/1mb free gprs pay as you go settings.

So if anyone has a C500 and they are on the o2 300 free texts/1mb free gprs pay as you go sim and has working settings, if they could upload a cab file i'd really appriecate it and i'd be willing to give them a couple of quid.

I've seen one or two people complain about their C500's running a little slow (one guy only noticed when his wife got one and they compared). The best way to resolve this that I've seen posted is to do a hard reset. I know some people suggest this for everything (dandruff? Hard Reset'll fix it!) but logically:

- If some software didn't install properly on your PC, you'd unistall it, then try installing it again.

Why should the Smartphone be any different? If something went a little awry during the original factory flashing, why not give it another try to see if it goes right this time? You've got nothing to lose (except your games, applications, and contact numbers!)

As for the O2 settings - sorry buddy I'm still on Orange! :D I know you've mentioned you've trawled threads, but here's a link to the "official" one, just on the off-chance that you didn't find it earlier.
