Guest orcinus Posted March 2, 2005 Report Posted March 2, 2005 Have been searching for a while now, but haven't found anything even remotely similar... Does anyone know of any apps that'd enable me to customize the LED alerts? As in, define the color scheme of the flashes, duration, interval, on per alert/notification/caller ID basis? Since the LED lights in 3 (4? does it light up red too, or just blue, green and amber?) colors, that'd be quite a useful thing IMHO. Orcinus
Guest MitchellO Posted March 2, 2005 Report Posted March 2, 2005 I don't know of any, but it would be good to. I would like blue for sms (never leave bluetooth on. Only sometimes for activesync) and red for email. I don't know what colour it does for sms/email, but i never notice it. blue would stand out.

I remeber there were quite a few of apps/hacks like that for the Palm OS. You could set up a custom blinking pattern (dot-dash-dot, perhaps), tie the LED into battery level meter, make it light up whenever the device is on (i know this one doesn't seem very useful, but it actually is if you're using the device in dark and the screen times out). It's incredible how noone thought of doing anything similar for the WM (whine, whine, whine :D ) Orcinus
Guest TigerNet Posted March 2, 2005 Report Posted March 2, 2005 ...dunno if this would work - http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=88054 - it is for smartphones as far as I can tell, but might work...or you could contact the developer... Cheers Nick
Guest FragMeister Posted March 2, 2005 Report Posted March 2, 2005 under Settings > Personal > Sounds and Notifications > Notifications tab you are able to select how long the light flashes for for certain events (such as missed call or new text message). No ability to change the colour there though...
