stuck on headset

Hi I have an original SPV and after taking out the earphones last time the profile seems to be stuck on Headset and the only way I can hear anything is by plugging the headset back in.

Any ideas, Thanks

Welcome to the site :D

The headset fault is a known problem, unfortunately this is a hardware fault but there are a few things you can try.

First off try blowing in the socket then try a cocktail stick in the socket.

These are only temporary fixes and continued use of the headset can make this a perminant feature.

Looks like its time for a new phone, shame really I've come to rely on it :?:
