Swap my C500 screen for a QVGA one

I have a sharp GX20 which i dont use and i was wondering if i could swap the screen and put it in my c500 SPV. Roughly looking they have the same dimensions (size). I know WM2003 SE supports qvga screens but are there a lot of processes i need to do to enable it, ie. registry

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

They may have 'roughly' the same size but the actual hardware compatability is another matter with power and physical connections.

To be honest with ya dude, unless you're seriously good at micro-electronics, just sounds like a real good way to break two decent phones.

Obviously, if you get it to work you will be hailed as a god! :D

thanks for the advice guys, the qvga screen is half the thickness of my c500 screen which is a major disadvantage. i guess i wont be persuing this further
