Does anyone know if any software already exists which will let me do what I am suggesting here:

tabletpcplace.com

i.e. capture say an image and overlay it on the home screen similar to a 'post-it' note? :?:

Thanks for any suggestions. :D

Nice idea. I would love to have something like that myself, that you could access by one click and your ready to start a note, and then have that appear on the homescreen.

As a workaround, I use oxios to do list, with the tasks plugin. Within a couple of clicks I am ready to take a note, and then it's on my homescreen straight away. Actually, come to think of it, you could almost recreate your idea just with a homescreen using a big tasks plugin! :D

Would love to see something like this, I'm forever wanting to scrawl notes down easily on my phone. Got the "Mobile Application Development kit" in the post today, maybe it's time to start learning :D

I'm think some clever fiddling with the task plugin and an image almost the size of the screen might do it - what might not be so easy is to make the image semi transparent so that you get an inkling of what is going on underneath, on the home screen.

anybody please any ideas for that?id really really appreciate a note plugin like that... in fact, even just a little bar in the homescreen with the note title that u can click on to open that note...

Thanks for helping!

Edit: looking around i found the oxios program. not too bad at all, however, is there a way to use the oxios plugin with the imbedded wm5 task manager, barring that, any other note program that is free?

at www.oxios.com - oxios to do list and oxios today plugin ;)

because even if u uninstall the todolist, the plugin still doesnt show a note i have in the imbedded task program, even if i try to select it..

the homescreen just shows: "Oxios Today Plugin installed ! " <----that's it

Thanks!
