Guest chucky.egg Posted March 2, 2005 Report Posted March 2, 2005 You'll get a better response in the Device Specific forum areas, but have you tried reversing what you did in the regsitry? You might also try copying everything out of the Sounds folder, and then deleting those files from the phone. Possibly a corrupt file is doing it. Can you still change the ringtone through the Settings menu? Can you get into the Sounds folder using the built-in file explorer (rather than a 3rd party one)?
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted March 2, 2005 Report Posted March 2, 2005 i tried to do a hard reset by holding the power button and the blu button for awhile but it just shuts off. To do a hard reset on the MPX200 you must start with the phone powered off, then press and hold the blue action button and press the power button. When the phone starts let go of the buttons and you will see the option to Master Reset YES or NO. Select YES and a Hard Reset will take place.
