Guest Chaser81 Posted March 2, 2005 Report Posted March 2, 2005 I finally did it!! :evil: I have noticed two (pretty deep) scratches on the bottom of my Jam near where you plug in the charger!! I dont understand what happened, I am always so careful!! The shine now seems to have worn off slightly on it, I hate scratched/dented devices.... Suppose its off to the shops to see what else is out now. :cry:

Guest MitchellO Posted March 2, 2005 Report Posted March 2, 2005 I know how you feel. I got a scratch on the silver plastic around the buttons on my old iPAQ and I was devastated. I have only had my XDA Mini for maybe 3 weeks, and I know that the back is going to get scratched. Need a play-through case. I have lost hope in getting the dead pixel fixed (well, the unit swapped actually).

I had mine done and the total turnaround time should be about a week. Providing you pay online by debit or credit card. If you pay by cheque they will wait until the cheque clears before beginning work. MitchellO: A dead pixel is a faulty unit and they should be replacing it without any questions. My first MDA compact had a dead pixel and they didn't even ask twice about switching it for a new one. You should have kicked up more of a fuss if they weren't interested. Speak to management or something. Get a littled p'd off.
