imate call quality

What is the call quality like of your phones? My imate jam is quite simply the worst quality of any phone I have ever had. The best description when speaking to someone is that they appear tinney and a little distant.

I have had problems with my handset, so I am hoping it is something to do with my specific handset

I'm using the MDA Compact and never had any problems with call quality.

I've been playing around recently and have found that the quality of voice calls does seem to vary greatly depending on which network you use, for example I find Vodafone pretty bad (generally quiet, lots of echos etc) whereas using a T-Mobile or Orange Sim in the same phone provides much better results.
