Guest danielf Posted March 3, 2005 Report Posted March 3, 2005 Is it possible to make a backup of the system databases of the device? ( like the contacts-calendar-tasks databases?) With pocketpc , you have a program like Phatware Dbexplorer allowing you making backups ( or restores) of the system databases of your device. Thanks Daniel
Guest danielf Posted March 3, 2005 Report Posted March 3, 2005 Try this app DBviewSP <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks it works but I can't make a backup of some databases Daniel
Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted March 3, 2005 Report Posted March 3, 2005 What phone are you using? On the SP2002, you can backup calendar, tasks and contacts database by backing up mxip_initdb.vol in \IPSM. :D EDIT: I used to do the tricks here to backup the database... http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=...mxip_initdb.vol

Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted March 5, 2005 Report Posted March 5, 2005 Oh Im sorry. The trick works on SP2002 (e100, SAP1) but have no idea if it will work on the 2003 unis (C500, MPx220).
