help cant make outgoing calls

Hi all

It seems I cant make outgoing calls any more?

Incoming works as does balance checking etc but if I dial a UK number including code it just cuts saying cant make the call.

I have unlocked apps and use payg O2 any ideas. btw signal strength is high!!!

any ideas? all I am getting is error unable to make call check no blah blah

there is a small "2" next to the battery indicator top line what is that?

The "2" might be a Line 2 indicator.

Yesterday O2 in some parts of the UK was playing up and people couldn't make calls from their mobiles.

Symptoms were the same as you've stated so it could be the same thing.

Sim card works in anothr phone so Im borked!

I can't think of any settings that would stop outgoing calls but allow incoming calls, which is why I asked you the obvious question about call credit.

Have you still got the Line 2 indicator ? That needs network enabling so I'd look in the manual for how to switch between lines. My guess is that Chucky had the answer in his post above.

EDIT : Line 2 and Call Barring options are in Settings, Telephony.

Line 2 is normally not available to PAYG customers.

You are stars it was on line 2 reset to line 1 and its working!!!!
