Forum Idea

Maybe it's just me, because I don't follow all the latest trends and news reports on phones, but am I the only one who doesn't know the difference between an XDAII, a jam, and a peanut butter and banana sandwich (runs PPC for SP 2005, that last one).

Would it be possible to have a pinned guide to all the available machines out there, both SP and PPC with a thumbnail pic, the manufacturer's name and the different network's names, a simple guide to it's basic features like OS, Bluetooth, WIFI, Memory Card type. Nothing too complicated just enough to give an idea what people are talking about. If people want more detail perhaps there could be links to the different sections of the forum.

Yeah that's the kind of idea, but all in one place, not at the top of each individual forum section. If it's at the top of the section then it means wading through who knows how many sections to find out about the different types. If you could put all the stuff on one page, with thumbnails of the photos, and a link to the relevant section on the forum that would be easier.
