One-way Outlook Sync

Does anyone know how to configure activesync to sychronize outlook one-directiion? I want sync my SMT5600 with my office oulook installation to get appointments but don't want to let the server admin guys know all my personal business.

Well sync'ing by definition is a 2-way process, but because ActiveStink only sync's with your local/Personal Calendar it probably won't be visible anyway.

If you are really worried about it you could copy your calendar (on the PC) to "Calendar 1" before every sync, then do the sync, then delete your calendar (on the PC) and rename "Calendar 1" to "Calendar"

You'd have to do it every time though, and with lots of diary appointments copying a calendar can be a very slow process!

The only other thing I can think of is using PumaTech's Intellisync instead of ActiveSync (I don't know if it's actually any better, but it might be worth a look)

The other thing you could do is mark your personal appointments as private.

I doubt very much that the server admin guys can be bothered looking at anyone's calendar. That's assuming they have permission to do so anyway.
