Guest funkmaster Posted March 3, 2005 Report Posted March 3, 2005 I've just bought a tomtom bluetooth gps unit for £100 - my new mini sd card coming in a few days.. I had three reasons for this - one being to stop me getting caught by a speed camera, the next for obvious sat nav features, and the last is that i'm going travelling in the summer and would like it to be able to assist me if i happen to end up in the middle of nowhere. I'm going to central + south america - basically from Mexico down until my money runs out.. I didnt think this would be a problem, however i was speaking to a guy at work who seems to know what he is talking about and he didnt think they was any software for that part of the world.. So wats the score with this? Any info would be appriciated. Harry.
Guest hb88xx Posted March 3, 2005 Report Posted March 3, 2005 (edited) TomTom has no maps for that part of the world, and for brasil it looks it is possible to have a navigation program, but other countries I am missng too!! Edited March 3, 2005 by hb88xx
Guest Drewtech Posted March 4, 2005 Report Posted March 4, 2005 (edited) Have a look at this. I am not sure if it will do what you are looking for but it might. Vito Technology Edited March 4, 2005 by Drewtech
