Guest FXPP Posted March 5, 2005 Report Posted March 5, 2005 Can anybody tell me if it's possible to make the alarm on the MPX220 repeat itself? Found a registry-hack on this site telling you to change the value of the HKEY_CURRENT_USER/ControlPanel/SoundCategories/Alarm --> Script. It works...but only for a while. After a little time, the phone changes the value to another value (not even the original one) and the alarm just plays once again. Thanks!
Guest cortez Posted March 5, 2005 Report Posted March 5, 2005 i gave up on the "repeating alarm trick" and purchased CityTime Alarms ($10 US) for the smartphone. it has repeating alarm, snooze alarm, looping alarm sounds, etc.
Guest jairo_lopez Posted March 9, 2005 Report Posted March 9, 2005 You can give a try to free Smartphone alarm from http://sourceforge.net/projects/spalarm/ Recurrent alarm, snooze, etc

Guest MadSci Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 A 'kind of' fix can be done by going to 'Settings", then 'Profiles" and then scrollling to the Profile in use, and chosing 'Edit'. Go down to the relevent notification, and select "Increasing". The notification should repeat, getting louder each time. Won't repeat forever though, but you get multiple rings. Works best with long WAV or MP3 sound files. FYI, I love Citytime Alarms, and I rely upon it when I'm travelling. Easier to get right than some strange clock radio you've never seen before! MadSci
