Any opinions? Factors are: - SDA will probably not get easily damaged in my pocket and is slightly more portable - SDA has great talk and stand bye time - MDA has nice bigger screen, and a stylus for easiy web browsing. - MDA has an SD Slot for WiFi Overall, I bet the MDA is higher spec, but the fact that I need to get a case for it is a pain, and that it's a little limited on battery life. The SDA not having WiFi or SD slot might just push it out of the game though! Lol, I need both! Tobes
Guest SkUk21 Posted March 5, 2005 Report Posted March 5, 2005 its a tough choice. I've got the SDA and its great! But i want the MDA as well!!!! if your willing to compromise size and the lack of a proper keypad, then go for the MDA, but if its a compact device then the SDA is the one to go for!

I have a T68i that I just use for calls, and can carry anywhere and take out with me to the pub/running etc. If I lose it or drop it in my beer then it's no big deal. However, I don't think I'd want to expose the JAM to such risks. I'd probably trust myself to weild an SDA whilst I'm out for the night, but not the JAM! My current thoughts are to go for the JAM, but it is strictly for "sensible" use, and I should swap the SIM out into my T68i when I'm playing out! I still then get the benefits of the JAM format (big screen, SD slot etc) *most* of the time. The thing about the SDA keyboard is worrying too, so another minus point there. So, looks like I'll be placing an order with ScanCom/UkPhoneShop soon too! Tobes
