Hi, is it possible to assign different ringtones to different contacts????

Yes.

Scroll down each Contacts form in Settings and you will see the option.

I believe they have to be either wav or MIDI format (wma might work) and be stored in \Storage \Application Data \Sounds

And, as an encore, if you want to store these personal ringtones on your Storage Card, rather than on the phone, simply download the free and idiot proof RJV RegTweaks:

Then go into the option for "Tones Path" on page 2 and set wherever you want the tunes to be held!

Remember placing custom ringtones on the storage card can make the phone unstable.

Sorry Awarner - hadn't heard that warning before and assumed it was fine because I've never had any problems.

It should be more stable with the C500 but on the older phones it can cause problems that only a hard reset can fix.

It is posted around, and midnight had the privilage of finding and posting the reg entry that enables the ringtone tweak.

He had a few problems at the time.
