ROM Update on SPV sticks at 51%

I dug out my old Original SPV for use as an emergency phone at work.

Downloaded the ROM update package from the Orange website.

Everything goes ok erasing the old software, but when upgrading to the new one, it sticks at 51% Upgrade completed.

Have tried repeating several times to no avail, can anyone help ?

Place the phone in the canary screen plug it into the PC then reboot the PC. Once the PC has restarted turn off any firewalls etc and then rerun the update :D
