i wonder if u can simplfy it for me more i downloaded the

alphaflux lock and i dont understand this part:

Just download the attached "unlock" cabinet file (you’ll need to be registered and logged into see the files), copy it to your phone and install. Now install an uncertified application and see it in all its glory. That’s all there is to it! And to be complete I have also attached a re-lock cabinet, just in case anyone wants it! How that for service

Are you sure you need to use this application? as mentioned in the unlock post the alphaflux method has not worked on newer Orange phones for a long while now and you need to use the Orange developers site to application unlock your phone.

i think i have the old version i dont really care i just want to learn where to put the file and how to open it.

helps if you download resco explorer or another file manager. Then once the cab is on your phone you can open it

..forgot how theres no file manager in wm2002!

Your best bet is to use the Orange developers site this will save you any problems. http://developer.orangews.com/orgspv/comdef.aspx

Apart from that if you really want to use the cab file, using Activsync place the file in IPSM\Windows\Start Menu\Accessories

Then all you need to do is got to the accessories folder and run the file you just placed there. The app will then install and may work if the ROM is old enough (bought in late 2003)

You do not need a file manager to do any of this but that is still one app that is a must on the phone. Once you get the phone unlocked then try Samrt Explorer and Task Manager from www.binarys.com these are the best and most used applications on the Smartphone.
