Counting my SMS

Anybody know a easy way to tell how many text messages I have sent? I have 200 free on my contract and would like to reset a counter at the start of a month o tell when I have reached my limit and are starting to be charged.

Can this be done?

Does your service provider not have an automated system you can dial and check with?

I suppose you could set the phone to save all sent messages, then manually delete last months each time you roll over your billing date. Just see how many are in there.

This is something these phones are missing. It would be great to have your account info integrated into the phone. It could know about inclusive texts/minutes, GPRS, best times to make calls etc.

Don't know about texts or minutes, but SPB do a good app (which comes free with the MDA3) called GPRSMonitor for setting up GPRS account info...
