my input icons gone?

I might be being stupid here as im new to Pocket PC, but after using my new MDA compact for nearly a wekk, my taskbar icon to show/hide the input pannel has vanished. I soft reseted my PDA but it still hasnt come back.

If I go into word or do a text, my inpy pallet comes up, but there is no way to hide it!

Any ideas?

Tap the 'keyboard' icon on the Taskbar to hide it.

no, i mean, the taskbar icon has vanished! ive tied resetting but it wont come back!
